When someone chooses to drive while he is drunk, it means that he has chosen to risk other people’s life around him.
Drunk driving accidents mostly happen when the driver over speeds, drives too slow or makes an improper turn in the heavy traffic in from of him, doesn’t stop at red light or the stop sign, drives on the opposite side of the road etc. In some of the cases, the alcohol supplier may also be found as negligent.

These types of accidents are very common and serious accidents. Approximately 8,500 deaths are counted in result of these accidents.
Side impact collision can be defined as the front of oncoming vehicle hitting the side of your vehicle. This type of collision is also known as “t-boned”. These accidents mostly occur when crossing an intersection and someone fails to obey the stop sign at the traffic signal.
There are several factors that on which the side impact collision depends including the weight and speed of the vehicle that is upcoming to you and the point where it exactly hits your vehicle.
If the vehicle is equipped with the side airbags, then the dangers of side impact collisions could be reduced to some extent. We all should understand the seriousness of riding children under 12 years of age at the front seat. The child can die with the power of airbag deployment regardless of the rigorousness of the impact.

Many people fall asleep while driving which has resulted in almost 4 percent of the nationwide deadly crashes and injuring many other people on the road.
It is possible to avoid an accident due to a fatigued driver. If you feel that you are feeling sleepy while driving, then you can stop by a nearest rest house. It may be a bit inconvenient for you but the caution is far better than the consequences.
